True net-zero living awaits
With every home on the development boasting Solar PV, air source heat pumps (ASHP), Mechanical Ventilation Heat Recovery (MVHR), triple glazing and enhanced insulation in all walls, floors and roofs.
These features help reduce overall energy demand; running costs will still vary by household usage and tariff (smart tariffs can help if you’re savvy). Your next home at Heath View is your step-up to the new standard of living – living well, living healthy and living richer lives.
Not only are the homes of Heath View built to benefit the environment (and your pockets), the development itself is also, achieving a 10% biodiversity net gain – meaning we have actively and measurably improved the biodiversity of the area as a part of our development agreement. In doing so we’ve also agreed to secure and manage the habitat for a minimum of 30 years.

What’s MVHR?
Most people don’t know what Mechanical Ventilation Heat Recovery (MVHR) is, how it works, or really how much of an efficiency game-changer it is. It’s a simple-enough idea, but for it to work and for you to get the value from it – the rest of your house has to be efficient too.
With a Heath View home – you’re in luck. We’ve already added everything else you need to maintain the MVHR system and for it to operate with maximum benefit, so read on if you want to know how it works.
The Mechanical Ventilation Heat Recovery (MVHR) is an energy-efficient, whole-house ventilation system that provides constant, filtered fresh air while recovering up to 95% of heat from outgoing stale air. It can support comfortable, healthy indoor air quality and is effective in preventing mould by helping manage moisture (and therefore condensation). It operates quietly, making it ideal for airtight, modern homes like ours. Coupled with triple-glazed windows and up-rated insulation throughout, these homes are the most energy efficient we’ve ever built.
What are the benefits of MVHR?
There are many benefits to having an MVHR system in your home. The MVHR system works via a central unit that extracts moist, stale air from “wet rooms” (kitchens, bathrooms) and draws in fresh air from outside.
The airstreams pass over a heat exchanger without mixing; the warm, outgoing air transfers its heat to the cooler, incoming air. The warmed air is then circulated around the airtight home for maximum efficiency, recovering between 60-95% of heat and reducing the energy required to keep your home comfortable.
Benefits include:
- Improved air quality – Continuously filtered air making for a more comfortable environment.
- Energy savings – Significantly reducing heating costs and lowering energy requirements.
- Comfort – Eliminates cold drafts from vents, air bricks and windows.
- Cleaner Environment – Effective in preventing mould by efficiently managing moisture to help prevent condensation and dampness.
- Quieter Environment – Allows for windows to stay closed, and being triple-glazed, they are even more noise dampening.

Historical Providence
Waddington, is a village rich in history and charm. The Viking Way, serves as a reminder of the ancient Celts who farmed the cliff tops west of Roman Ermine Street over 1,500 years ago, before being overtaken by Viking warriors. This historic village, recorded in the Domesday Book of 1086, was primarily an agricultural community until the late 19th century. In its earlier days, Waddington was also known for horse racing on the heathland, which is now part of the RAF station, now famously home to the Red Arrows. Over time, the village has seen various industries, including malting, brickmaking, and stone-quarrying. Now, Waddington offers a picturesque and storied backdrop for modern living.
